Oddball "Sun" -challenge reminder

Summer Flowers from Rubber Dance

I should be cleaning my windows, but ...

These Textured Flowers where calling for color

and I took my H2O and a cup of water and start coloring.

I don't "understand" water coloring, but I do love the strong, beautiful 

tones on these colors and the lovely shine. So I  use them anyways...

I found in the sale basket these

unbelievably colorful papers, real hippie style

- and just had to buy them, on sale and everything....

A while back I got some Happy Mail from 

New Zealand - or as the sender calls it: RAK

 Inside the fab packet was a  wicked plate of VLS stamps.

Totally love that there is awesome sentiments with the images.

I was asked by my neighbor to make a card

for a boy - and she told me that the boy was a 

fan of ice hockey team that has orange and black as their colors.

If I'm to make a boy card and don't really know where to start

Kenny K is a brilliant place. Lots of images suitable for boys and men...

I colored the image with Copics and Prismacolors, 

sentiment is a peel off that I colored with black Sharpie.

Paper is old stash, Magnolia and the stripes are tape.

Time truly flies. But the weather is so nice and nice is also

Bookworm ATC

Since it's been rainy few days my daughter decided to

tidy her closets and she was throwing these tiny bead

things away ... when I saw them I instantly remember 

the Wicked Wednesday theme: a bookworm.

Soooooooo

I got my worm and made my ATC. Paper is askrap from an old magazine page,

that I used to make Faux Leather. I stamped on it twice using

one of the stamps from Lost Coast Designs Shadow Frames set.

Today is the 5th festive day, and it's my turn to show my make:

First time I tried to do Faux Leather and it was a great fun.

Lots of watering, inking and stamping. Stamped used:

Skeleton and Roses, Antique Text Border, and Medium Shrubbery

I stamped the image in the same kraft paper than the embossed piece

of Faux Leather is and colored it with Prismacolors.

Then just added few charms that are way to heavy 

for card but perfect for this the cover.

While I was in the process of thinking what to create for the hop,

I happened to open a box of new pair of pantyhose.

And the piece of cardboard they where wrapped on look just like

a giant TAG - so that was the starting point for this.

This was the first time I played with my Stampcapes stamps,

and really liked them ... hmmm love to have some more, lol.

Antelope skeleton is VLV stamp and is embossed with white powder.

Pugsy Bugsy , ATC

I've been testing a image transfer stuff,

this was a first try.

I colored the background with paints and let in dry under a 

plastic wrap. Then added these cute Pugsy Bugsy's by Oddball Art

on top of the bacground. Stamped the sentiment and also 

a touch of glitter glue, white gel pen and glossy was included in the process, :=D

STAMPlorations June challenge

Just can't believe it's June already, kids has only few days

left at school before loooooong summer holiday.

STAMPlorations June challenge has a perfect theme

for summer time - it is time for weddings, comfirmations,

graduations etc. and the theme is:

AND as always, if the theme doesn't fit you can always go by the sketch:

My sisters girls had a B-day party and I wanted 

to make their gift bags look girly and fun.

When stamping the first one, I had my stamp on a acrylic blog

- and it didn't work very well. The surface of the paper bag is 

quite uneven.... well, I took the stamp of from the blog and double 

stamped the flower. Sentiment is also double stamped, got a 

wicked effect by using first the pink and then the black.

Stamps I used for these bags are:

Happy Sunflower, Mixed Media Grunge and Party Time.
