STAMPlorations - Stencil Sunday

For this months Stencil Sunday I made something really pretty:

AJ page using Trendy Butterflies stamp set 

and Peony Number Two stencil.

I colored the background using glycerin and inks,

modeling paste with the stencil and white ink

with the butterflies. Then added some details with white pen, :=).

Progressive Challenge at Bloobels

Bloobels Progressive challenge for February

brings a fantastic set of a happy baker and a awesome

sheet of goodies to go with her.

Since I don't really care about cakes 

BUT do love my coffee:

I colored the image with Copics and the background is made

using napkin. I made a four at the same time and love how

the "mood" varies depending 

from the color of the paper under the napkin.

Background papers being orange, green and black here, :=)

Rhyme for February

This month The Craft Barn is challenging with

this rhyme

and the project must also include a cherub and a heart

- must say, this was a challenge for me, LOL

But I took it and watercolors, heart stamp from Rubber Dance,

embossing powders, Tim Holtz cherub stamp, acetate and a pen...

... and this is how my ATC turned out:

February is still a full winter month here,

so I felt like making it quite icy...

Wicked Wednesday has a "Heart" theme challenge,

so I'm entering there too with this icecherub and

and hope it has enough layers for Rubber Dance "Layers" challenge...

gorgeous Zen Hearts stencil, You & Me Phrase Die and

STAMPlorations Mixed Media challenge for February

New month brings a new Mixed Media challenge

at STAMPlorations, yey!!

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card 

and you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. 

And there is fabulous prizes:

- $10 gift certificate to the winner voted by the Mixed Media team

- $5 gift certificate each to the 2 top picks

- If there are 25 or more entries: 

1 random winner of any 2 standard size stencils

This month I'm kind of recycling:

Round board is a bottom from a box and the 

background is a piece of paper I did a while ago

using watercolor and salt.

Then I took some wonderful STAMPlorations stuff and made

it all glittery and fab, lol.

I used: Amazing die, Dragonfly Waltz stencil and Trendy Leaves 2 stamps.

And added a big paperflower and a piece of ribbon...
