Happy, Smile, Hugs and Thanks Word dies

Dragonflies are lovely: green and glittery since I used 

Glitter Paste with the stencil.

I made 3 ATC's using:

Four Alices and 

Rabbits, Cat Face, HatterRabbit with Watch

and ATC doodles sets

Bubble background is that paper what you find between layers in a 

box of chocolate, sprayed some colors, added a bit of Inka Gold and paint.

Snowflakes are stickers and sentiments; I found from Etsy.

Anything Goes challenge at Lost Coast Portal to Creativity

What a great way to start a challenge year at Lost Coast:

theme is Anything Goes, as long as there is stamping.

I did lots of stamping on my card,

I wanted to try how I'd manage to create a background

and stamp the main image straight on it... 

and this is how it turned out:

I've used color powders and H2O colors, inks, die cuts and sticker with the

CV's Klimt Kiss, LCD ATC Doodles Set and ATC Text Set 1 -stamps.

Cold, cold January

January is showing it's cold face in Finland,

and I must say - don't like it. But I do like the

way it makes nature look like.

I tried to capture the look of the frozen nature by using 

Lost Coast Designs beautiful Shrubbery stamp,

2 embossing powders and 3 different Distress Inks.

How did I do? Getting chills already? LOL

STAMPlorations Mixed Media challenge for January

The first Mixed Media challenge for the 2017

at STAMPlorations is here, :=)

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card 

and you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. 

And there is fabulous prizes:

- $10 gift certificate to the winner voted by the Mixed Media team

- $5 gift certificate each to the 2 top picks

- If there are 25 or more entries: 1 random winner of any 2 standard size stencils

We are having a really cold time here in Finland,

so it seems my creative side turns it to warm colors and sunny feelings.

I colored a page from STAMPlorations Coloring Book

with Coloursofts, die cut some tags out of it.

Then I used Dragonfly Waltz stencil, first with ink on the

background tags and then with a glittering paste 

on the front side tags.

I die cut Thanks and Smile dies twice, first from a foam and  then

from a cardboard and clued them together.

Progressive Challenge at Bloobels

Bloobel FB group starts this year with a bang, LOL.

There is a progressive challenge and January's image

is so much fun - and the challenge is: 

"Fill in the Placard with a slogan of your choice!"

My slogan is from Ginger's House, 

great place for wicked and sweet sentiments.

Image is colored with Copics and Prismacolors and the papers are from

old Doodlebug collection (witch I hope I could have more...).

Rhyme for January

I'm very happy that I "found" The Craft Barn blog,

the inspiration that they keep giving is amazing.

And now there is a challenge that is new every month,

challenge includes a rhyme and the challenge part.

The rhyme for the January goes like this:

and the challenge is:

you must include a bird in a wellington boot.

I don't know if my make really qualifyes the terms,

but this is how I saw it, :=D

Image is from A Day For Daisies, colored with Copics. Background is embossed with Seth Apners folder (Seth is sponsoring a challenge at Dream in Darkness this month). Berries got some red from the Liquid Pearl bottle and the red boots are shiny, thanks to Glossy.
