I found this sentiment (funny but so true) from my scrap box

yesterday evening and did a big tag using it.

Here's a second card I made printing image

on a regular paper, then adding clear Gesso on it,

and colouring with watercolors.

Words are old fridge magnets.

Gecko Galz has these beautiful sketchy

images that I'd love to color with watercolor.

BUT my printer does not take watercolorpaper,

it always gets stuck.

So this time I tried a new technique for me:

I printed the image on regular paper,

then but some clear Gesso on them,

and then colored the images with watercolors.

Here's the first one:

Sketchy Butterfly

AAA Cards has a new challenge and

the theme is Butterfly.

I used two stamps from AALL & Create

stamp sets. Don't know if my butterfly is 

supposed to be a butterfly, but that's how I see it 

(feelers and wings).

Just stamped the images, colored a bit with Copic

and that's it.

Well, don't really know if the "merboy" is a

word at all or are the all under water "people" mermaids.

Maybe it is the right word for this cute rider.

So I took a dex card, few bookpages, magnetic words, 

peel off stickers, paints and ink with the Gecko Galz 

monthly image challenge image, coral images are also 

from GG.

Altered book; break free

I found this old book from library,

they have this recycling cart where you can

bring your old books and also take books for free.

The book pages are very thin, so I took some

of and glued some together.

I've already done some pages, using just 

mermaid images, but when I saw 

this months Gecko Galz Gothic challenge image

I knew it was perfect for my book.

Book has some pictures in it and this is the last 

spread, it has those cool "statues" on it.

So I added the image and die cuts, did some stamping,

used white wax and some white paint.

ATC's; Doll mermaids

Summer is here and so are the mermaids in Gecko Galz blog.

This months stamp challenge image has a bunch of mermaids.

Instead of using a image as it is, I created

ATC in each mermaid, background paper is also from

Gecko Galz. I colored the images with Copics and embossed

them with sparkling clear powder. Also embossed the edges

of the cards, the bling is very sparkly but camera did not

quite got it.

I made a mixed media ATC using gears and "screws",

embossing powder, wax, golden paint, black pen and 

lots of glossy.

The Male Room; Tag

Eeeek! We have a great, awesome theme this month at

the Male Room!!!

How cool is that!! So you can create

anything masculine as long as it is / there is

a TAG, possibilities are endless, LOL

I made kind of Mixed Media tags,

yes, made 2 because love to make tags.

Tag base is quite big, Studio Lights tab tags 

(I cut the tab off)

Then some inks, rice papers, wax, die cuts,

book paper, pens, ribbon and sentiment stickers.
