Dressing table goes steampunk

My older daughter's hobby is Pullip dolls,

and I'm supporting her hobby with my crafting hobby, LOL.

Yesterday I went to a flea market 

- have not done that in a while and saw this

pink princess table.

Size seem to be a good one but the appearance was not

Here's the starting point after I already removed 

the princes on front of the mirror and the cute draw handlers.

Overlays ATC's

I have had a packet of Kaisercraft beach themed Photo Overlays for years,

and have not really known where to use them.

Today I decided to try combining them with papers and

images and make few ATC's

Result is quit fun actually, there is a 3D effect (doesn't show

much on the photo). Images and the background paper are all from Gecko Galz,

and both cards have 2 of those overlays.

Junk Journal page: playing mermaid

I haven't done a page a while, so when I got these vintage style

seashells from a happy mail, I thought they would be nice for a

mermaid page.

I looked at my stash box and found a perfect mermaid,

ship and a flowers I colored a year ago.

I think they look lovely together, very suitable 

for my Junk Journal (I already have 3 pages with mermaids in it)

Steampunk Skinny

This months image in GG Steampunk challenge

was a little "hard" for me, but then I found this sentiment from

my stash and that make a idea for this skinny card.

Images are from Gecko Galz, sentiment is from old

calender, it says "You've made your bed, now lie in it"

in Finnish. Gears I made using a Sixxiz die I have had for

years and years.

This Nevermore image from Gecko Galz Gothic challenge

is a perfect image for today's rainy day, feels like Autumn already.

Background is an old Gelliplate print. With the challenge image

I also printed the Poe image, used a bats and gate die cuts, black roses, and blue

skeleton leaf and a touch of white wax and bunch of ribbons.

Art Trading Stamps: Mermaids

 I like making these stamps because they are so tiny and fun.

Images are from Gecko Galz and stamps from Carabelle

Studio. I added some Collage Medium (vingage) on top of stamps

and then little ink on edges.
