Full Deck challenge, part 3

And my journey with a playing card deck continues,

this time I printed some whimsical image from Gecko Galz.

I used the image transfer medium and after

rubbing the paper of I covered the cards with decoupade 

medium - it did not work as well as clear embossing powder

but it did give a little texture to the cards.

And after drying I added a little golden wax to cards.

Full Deck Challenge, part 2

So my "work" with a playing card deck continues,

this time I took the theme from

Gecko Galz monthly blog challenge.

Full Deck Challenge

The FB is full of altered playing cards now days,

wonderful to see all kind of cards - all taking part of #fulldeckchallenge

So I decided to give it a try also. I bought a super cheap deck,

cards are about ATC size.

And when I saw the Gecko Galz Gothic challenge image

I was inspired to try the image transfer tehnique.

My medium is a little "off" or maybe my paper

was not the proper kind, but I could not take

all the white off from the top of the image ...

... but, when I embossed the whole card with clear power the white 

did not show anymore, so I'm very pleased with a result

And since I do have a whole deck to go,

I made few more cards, also using images

from Gecko Galz

So, got the challenge started and had fun 

with the process.
