Gecko Galz Steampunk challenge has

I made a large tag using Studio Light tab tag.

Stamped and embossed some gears and

This months Christmas challenge image

at Gecko Galz is very cute, love the little bird.

I love the Gecko Galz monthly Gothic challenge,

this months image is fabulously dark.

I made a tag using it and this and that

from my desk.

Sentiment is a song lyric and goes about like this:

Love the Paper Shelter image because they

are super cute and you can choose if you

So, here I was testing out my new

Sizzix die set...

I printed the black and white image,

used the die and then colored the blocks 

with Copics ... well ... got the idea and tested it

... maybe it would work better with other color combination...

But it is colorful and happy card, LOL

When I think about making card for a boy

this Visible Image t-shirt stamp often comes handy.

I stamped the t-shirt, stamped on t-shirt and

fussy cut it, then some very colorful

background paper and some die cut words.

Embossing & scraps, part II

I'm the GDT at the Let's Squash It challenge blog

this month and wanted also to play with the challenge.

So this is my second card using embossing folder and scraps.

First I embossed the white panel, then

pits and pieces of papers with dots on them

and glued them on top of the white panel.

I think this sentiment is perfect for my 

patchwork card, since it is unique and far from

being perfect, LOL

I was so pleased to have a opportunity to

join "Let's Squash it" -challenge as a GDT for

May challenge.

And the theme is awesome, since

who does not have those yummy 

scraps we can NOT throw away, LOL

I started my card by choosing scraps

in quite similar colors, since

I have lots of long and thin scraps,

I decided to use my dies to create

flowers from the scraps.

I glued the flowers on a black paper and then

embossed it.

I didn't want to cover the flowers in any way,

so I used a piece of vellum behind my die cut "hello"

Altered tin box

I have been seeing these awesome

altered tin boxes and and since

I had the pleasure of  beeing a GDT

at the Creative Artiste Mixed Media challenge

I thought I'll try to make one.

This is how the box was at first

And after lots of stuff, the inside looks like this

And the lid

So this was my first altered tin box, I think

I'll be making more, it was fun.

I've combined 2 images to make one and

they are perfect together, don't you think?

Actually, maybe they are from the same picture...
