A new, great challenge at the Male Room

As soon as I saw the theme I knew what

stamps I wanted to use.

Card is made using 3 different shades of ink and Visible Image

stamp set and then a die cut frame.

Vintage nature, tag

It feels that the spring is such a hectic

time, but it's always lovely when I can

find some time to sit and craft.

a picture is worth a ...

I got this gorgeous piece of die cut and paper from

a ATC swap (and sentiment from another swap)

and really wanted to create a card using them.

 So I just added paper with music notes on

and gorgeous image form Gecko Galz.

The Male Room: In the Garden

I'm totally in a spring mood (although we had snow

last Monday), time really flies and there is so many

things you should and now also could do...

... that's my "excuse" for posting late ...

I'm very sorry.

We have a awesome theme at the Male Room

Yes, how to do a manly card with a 

garden full of flowers but there are lots and lots

of ways, hop in to challenge and see what my fellow 

DT's have created and while you are there do join,

we'd  love to see your art.

I had in my card a gardening hare, stamp from

VLV, colored with watercolors.

I bought some Carabelle studios stamps set

to make some Art trading stamps.

This is a fist ATS set I've ever made,

using Carabelle stamps and Gecko Galz images.

These tiny things were so fun to make, I'm sure I'll make lots more.

VI has this month a color challenge

in their FB page, so I made a CAS

postcard using VI stamps.

I colored the image with Zig watercolor pens and

then used a TH spritzer to add a little spritz.

When dragonflies appear...

I had this lovely left over piece

of laminated napkin (new technique for me that I need to test)

 I got from a swap and really wanted to use it.

U used some dies to cut the pieces and then

I printed a Gecko Galz dragonfly image,

embossed it twice and fussy cut the images.

Sentiment is from Carabelle Studio stamps set.

I made a card using a very very

special image, it is based on a photo from my daughter.

Andrea was so sweet and did a wonderful

job turning the photo on a digital stamp.

Stamp is called Noora and this is a first coloring to this image,

I kept it very simple but I do like how it turned out.

I wanted to use blue, because it's her (and mine) favorite color,

and she gave this card to her boyfriends 18 birthday, so it went to a guy, :)
