My colleague asked me to do a B-day card

for her aunt. She likes handcrafting, cats, dogs and blue.

And this is what I came up to.

Sentiment says: Perfect lady in a perfect age.

And there is a "Congratulations" twice in a circle.

Growing In Unity Day 4

Fourth day as a Growing in Unity (GIU) gal.

Today I'm featuring a fabulous and majestic

image from Soul and Spirit -set

Little snowflake is from Winter Frosty -set.

First card using white embossing powder.

Second with a silver powder

Sentiment is in Finnish and says Peaceful Chrismas.

I'm always amazed how detailed and gorgeous this image is.

Love it.

Growing In Unity Day 3

Time flies, this is already my

third day as Growing in Unity (GIU) gal.

Today I have some cards I made using alcohol

inks and alcohol lift ink.

This gorgeous flower is from You are Important -set.

Keeping the card very simple and allowing the flower to glow.

And then stamped again.

and here I added sentiments (found from my Unity surprise bag).

Growing In Unity Day 2

For my second day as a Growing in Unity Gal 

I created a Art Journal page using gorgeous

Eva stamp with a sentiment from She Is -set.

First I stamped the image in a very light color

Distress Ink to the watercolor paper.

And then added lots and lots of color from DI re-inkers

Added a little gesso and used a some Prismacolor

pens, stamped the sentiment and glued my page

to my black Art Journal book.

Growing In Unity Day 1

I'm so super excited and totally 

thrilled, the week that I've been 

waiting for almost an year is finally here.

I have the honor of being the "Growing In Unity gal" (GUI)! 

So from Monday through Friday this week 

I'll be featuring fabulous Unity stamps.

I hope you'll like my makes and visit often and write a comment;

because someone will be winning some awesome 

red rubber Unity stamps, YAY!!

For today I made some teabag art using

beautiful Poppies stamp (I got this stamp from

a surprise bag - they are really worth the money)

For the first card I just stamped the image using

brown Distress Ink.

I placed a piece of paper under the teabag so that the 

image would show better.

For a second card I stamped the image on the teabag

and also to the paper I was placing under it.

I roughly colored the image going under.

And it gave nice soft color to the flowers.

For a third card I colored my teabag poppies

with Inktense pens. Teabag don't handle rubbing

very well, so if you do this, be gentle with your brush.

Sheep Ski Designs challenge: "ANYTHING CHRISTMAS"

Sheep Ski Designs this months blog challenge

theme is starting to be very topical and is always so happy:

"Anything Christmas"

so lets see those elfs, reindeers, Santas,

Christmas flowers etc etc

For this challenge I made a big tag,

using fun "Snowman selfie" -image.

I used the same image multiple times and 

layered then behind each other before printing.

I used Copics and Prismacolors to color and

added some google eyes for some snowmen.

I bought some socks to my daughter and inside the socks

was this piece of cardstock ... and ta dah that's where

the base for my tag came this time, LOL
