Birds, birds ....

I won a lovely sheets of bird images from

Gecko Galz FB challenge and of course 

had to print and make some summer cards.

Using Gecko Galz image and ready made die cuts.

Thankful card for teacher

Time to make some "Thank you" -cards for 

teachers, this is first one I made and it's

going for a man teacher, so colors are kind of maculine.

I used alcohol inks, gesso, stencil and die cut from 

STAMPlorations and 3 stamps from Rubber Dance's

Weed love -plate and embossing powder.

STAMPlorations - Stencil Sunday

Another Stencil Sunday at STAMPlorations,

full of inspirations.

This time I made two coffee themed tags.

We Finns drink lots and lots of coffee,

so these tags are perfect if I stop by a friend 

and take a packet of coffee there.

I've used a napkins and Rows of Hearts stencil for the background

and Coffee Cup Silhouette, Coffee Word Die dies on top.

Finally all the snow is nearly gone,

nature is starting to show some bright colors,

we have plenty of daylight...

so Life is good!

AND is also time for a new challenge at STAMPlorations

Mixed Media challenge

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card 

and you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. 

And there is fabulous prizes:

- $10 gift certificate to the winner voted by the Mixed Media team

- $5 gift certificate each to the 2 top picks

- If there are 25 or more entries: 

1 random winner of any 2 standard size stencils.

For this months DT piece I  made myself a calendar to but on a wall, 

didn't have one at the work, so decided to make one, :=).

I used sprays and plastic wrap to make a base,

Happy Sunflower and Trendy Buterflies stamps together with 

Honeycomb Delight, Honeycomb Delight Reverse and Life is Good stencils.

White color comes from Dylusions paint.

And there is a touch of glitter - added when the spraying colors.
