Again and Again - pair of ATC's

So this Friday afternoon I decided to have

a crafty moment instead of going out for a walk...

... well it was raining a bit and all ...

I printed this great owl couple by Oddball

and created a pair of ATC's

I'm sorry about the quality of the photos ... didn't have any daylight when taking them and didn't want to wait for tomorrows sun, since tomorrow here will be another storry, LOL.

I made the background using markers and Alcohol blender

-and messed up a bit my image coloring, but hey, it's 

foggy out there, LOL

Twinkle ATC

It's been a while since I last time played in 

Wicked Wednesday... the time just runs away from me....

But this evening I sat down, looked at the theme

and looked my messy table and this is what

came out of all that looking, LOL

I took some left over die cuts, glued them to ATC base,

paint it with black gesso and then added

some green Inka gold on top. Angels are little 

wooden figures that got a layer of golden Inka Gold on top of them.

Taking a photo was truly difficult ... it doesn't really

show the green shade but it does shoe the metallic shine...

It's  time for Autumn rains,

and thinking of that made me make this blue card.

I used Carmen's Veranda super cute White Cat 

and great background stamp from Lost Coast Designs the Doodles Circles.

I used DI to stamp the circles and to color the Cat and

the circles. Cat and the sentiment is stamped with the VersaFine.

I had fun with one of the new Oddball's

STAMPlorations - Stencil Sunday

For this months stencil Sunday project I made

a pair of oceanic ATC's, using

True North, Trendy Birds 2 and Bubbles -stencil.

I took 3 DI pads and the stencil and kept moving the

stencil and adding colors until there where no

white space left - then I thought that the result was too dark

and added a layer of watered gesso through stencil.

I stamped the ship and the lighthouse to a piece of scrap 

(left from my Gelly plate play), fussy cut and glued them.

Then just added some lines using a black pen and stamped the sentiments.

STAMPlorations Mixed Media challenge for September

So, it's September already and Autumn time...

I like this time, fabulous colors all over the nature,

not too gold yet, sun is still showing

and most of the flying bugs are gone. 

Great time for outdoor hobbies, :=)

New month brings a new Mixed Media challenge at

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card 

and you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project.

For my DT piece I created an AJ spread using

Amazing word die, Bold Florals stencil and stamps from

Happy Sunflower, Sunflower, Trendy Leaves -sets

I made a background with Dylusions paints and babywhipe,

then I used stencil to get the blue flowers and light green leaves.

I stamped the sunflowers with a light brown ink and

colored them over with paint. After paint dried I stamped

the sunflowers again - this time with black. Stamped

some leaves and added the die cuts. When I glued the die cuts

I sprinkled some glitter on top 

and added little drops of glitter glue too.
