Lost Coast Designs - mostly manly

Hi peeps, I'm so excited that I had a change to join for Lost Coast Design team, YAY!! DT (there is fabulously talented ladies on the team) showcase their LCD project in Lost Coaster's Review. And for my first post I made some manly cards - they are a bit challenge to me, but you do need some from time to time, ;=D

I only used one stamp: Tire Tracks Border from Lost Coast Designs (and a sentiment from STAMPlorations). For the First card I choose to use black / grey / white. Stamp is quite long so it was easy to bend it a little and make some curves. I used black and grey Memento to stamp, embossed the sentiment and added a piece of wire that I found in my desk (????? the things I save to craft ... unbelievable...) and a charm - also from my ever growing stash.

The second card is very down to earth, I used Distress Stain aged mahogany to create the splash and to color the stamp. Inked the sentiment and edges with Vintage Photo DI ink and distressed the edges a bit. Very CAS and very fun to make.

To some challenges:
Digi Choosday - All about the man
Incy Wincy - tic-tac-toe (Summer time fun (you really can't ride a mc in wintertime here, lol) - Monochrome - Add some metal)
Crafty Gals - AG
Art by Miran - AG
Creative Fingers - AG
Sassy Studio - for the boys
Sweet Stamping - spots / stripes

P.S. There is still time, few days, to join LCD challenge, the theme is fun: Circles and you can use any image you fish - But if you do use LCD/CV images then your entry will count as two which means you double your chances of winning.

STAMPlorations - August hop, day 4

It's the 4th day of a STAMPlorations August hop, are you having fun? I hope so, I know I had fun making my winter card using Houses extras.

These stamps goes perfectly with a Houses -set. Don't have that set yet, so I made a scene.

The set looks like very summerlike, but I think it goes perfect with a snowy scene too, what do you think? I used 3 DI ink pads and 3 DI pens for this and made snowflakes using stamp (Christmas Block) and embossing powder.

Check out what the rest of the team made! You'll find links to all our projects here.

Pink Notebook

As much as I love digi's it's always fun to stamp too, :=D. I saw these note books in supermarket, and thought that the colours and the texture (recycled paper)  in them was delicious. And since schools are starting ... why not do something for my girls and have fun doing, lol.  Didn't want to add anything 3D on the cover, so I took my stamps and I sure did stamp.

Fairy and butterflies are from Oddball Art's Whimsy Stamp collection ... yes, Oddball has rubber stamps too! Sentiment is from Visible image and since I bought those flowers from fleamarket ... don't know about them... Coloured with ColourSofts and a little doodling to finish the cover.
Then I flipped the book and made another cover:

Again ColourSofts, and Prima Stamps girl with Indigo Blu stamps .... and a LOT of ribbons, my girl seemed to think the more the better.
